I want to talk about Neptune and I want to talk about why I want to talk about Neptune. When I was 20 and dating my future ex-husband, he had a good friend who read my natal horoscope to me. While I believe I was impressed, I was not impressed sufficiently to accept his invitation to study with him when he said I would study Astrology. It didn’t really connect with me until I was 24 and in the process of getting a divorce.
My future ex-husband, now just my ex-husband, left behind a book on Astrology given to him by his friend. And since he was a complete non-believer in anything he couldn’t see, hear, taste and smell, it was the one book he left behind. Now having more time to read, I picked up the book and it was a revelation for me. It was a genuine “born again” experience which to this day, has not changed. And so I began the study of Astrology.
The 60’s were by far the best decade I’ve experienced. There was so much invention, creativity, free thought, genuine music with Bob Dylan leading the parade. And on every church bulletin board as well as magazine covers was the question “Is God Dead?”
I had an answer as a new student of Astrology, with the knowledge that Neptune, the planet that rules spirituality, music, fantasy, and drugs was in the sign of Scorpio at the time, the sign of sex, death and transformation. And my answer was that yes, God was dead and would be reborn when Neptune entered Sagittarius, the sign that rules, among other things, religion and ideology.
And so it was that the change of signs brought with it the born-again movement and suddenly God was no longer dead, just annoying to those of us not True Believers. And every 14 or so years there was a new “god” in which to believe. Then came Capricorn, the “Wolf of Wall Street” and the worship of money. Most recently Neptune transited through the sign of Aquarius, a sign symbolized by technology, by a practicality that would raze a historic landmark and replace it with a parking lot - because the parking lot is more “useful”.
And now, finally, Neptune is in its own sign of Pisces, also a sign ruling religious belief as well as fantasy, spirituality, drugs and other worlds. This particular cycle seems to have brought us a new and appropriate to its time faith-based religion. We have come to believe what we are told to believe by the Pharma Pope and the doctor priests who anoint us with injections that they promise will make us whole rather than holy. They demand that we accept without any proof, not that the Sun orbits Earth, but another unproven theory; that germs cause disease. But at least this time, with this church, this religion, we only get canceled rather than as the last Dark Age with the other church when we, especially women, were auto da fe’d for non-acceptance of the Church narrative.
Neptune in Pisces also brought with it an attempt to force a belief in transgender ideology. A belief in fantasy as reality is well-timed to a Pisces Neptune. And to mark the cyclic difference between the water sign of Scorpio vs. the water sign of Pisces a book has recently been published with the title “Is Atheism Dead”. Yes, I suppose it is as I see a resurgence of spirituality in people who were not so in the past. There are also many people using words like “satanic” and “evil” for the forces arrayed against the people. Are they people, just like us, or demons, or perhaps extraterrestrials who want our planet just as some humans have killed other humans for their land.
In April 2025, Neptune will be starting its journey through Aries, the sign of Spring and new beginnings, retrograding back into Pisces and in Aries to stay in December until 2039. Coincidentally, or perhaps not, 2025 is also supposedly the year that Kali Yuga, the cycle of hell, of patriarchy and the time period in which men are deluded into believing they make the best leaders as they lead us off of every cliff they find is also due to end.
The last time Neptune was in Pisces we had the Civil War. It was also the time in which Tsar Alexander II freed the serfs in Russia. Tsar Alexander II was also a big admirer of Abraham Lincoln, believing that he had undertaken the Civil War in order to free the slaves. In support of that he warned off the French and British vultures who were waiting for an opportunity to attack the Union at its most vulnerable. Alexander sent warships to guard the coasts in New York and in San Francisco from attack. Our appreciation has been sadly lacking as we continually vilify and threaten Russia.
Will the return of Neptune to the sign of Aries bring another Civil War? It does seem possible, whether orchestrated by demons or by the end of the soporific state seemingly brought on by this Piscean Neptune. This time, however, I doubt that we will be able to count on Russian support from the many enemies we’ve made with our ongoing gunboat diplomacy. You might say that ship has sailed.
I wish I could understand astrology. It's like eavesdropping on a conversation in Swahili.
But it's so interesting, too, I keep being pulled into various posts and videos about what's going on... Pretty fun, scary, hope-generating, and everything else, all at once! ha Good stuff.
Thanks Dubby. I think a conversation might be in order soon. xo xo
Brilliant!
