If alien aircraft are being attacked as is reported, but never seem to fight back, is it possible they are unfamiliar with weapons of violence? That they are solely intelligent, curious and completely peaceful beings that visit us?
If that is the case, why are they not warned to stay away from this very violent planet. I wish I had been so warned.
If the reports are true about aliens that they are usually quite small, is it possible that it’s a universal truism that intelligence is highest in those about 5 feet in height or less? As a 5 foot tall being, I find that entirely feasible. Or does that not apply to humans?

I’m pretty certain, knowing how we are, that humans have always, since forever, were likely at particular times to prefer congregating with those of their own sex, irrespective of their sexual orientation. We just like it like that.
So….now that inclusivity has been deemed to be far more important in the scheme of things than the individual right to choose our associates, I am awaiting my invitation to the next Davos meeting. And I’m pretty sure there are many women who would feel far safer AND more effective were we included in the Bohemian Grove get-togethers as well as Skull and Bones.
And needless to say, in the interests of inclusivity we’ll need to invite a percentage of low-income persons of all races and ethnicities, perhaps even a couple of political prisoners, maybe Julian Assange, to attend the next Bilderberg meeting. Inclusivity Forever! We’ll all feel safer.

I am left to speculate on why it is that those same people who most religiously celebrate July 4th, aka Independence Day, flying American flags that cover half their house, eating gmo hot dogs and patented pesticided potato salad with their family and friends are generally the same people who think those who find fault with Amerikkka should just leave the country.
Does anyone ever think about where we’d be if Washington, Jefferson, the Adams brothers, Madison et al had just decided to hop on the next galleon out of the colonies because they were displeased with English rule?
If we had remained attached to the leading imperialists of the time, England, for one thing, we’d probably have universal health care today.

Q: What do you call founding fathers when they lose their war for independence?
A: Terrorists

Had the founding fathers left, they would have had to remain in the western hemisphere. I believe slavery was abolished in Europe some time in the 15th century….at least legally.
********************************* The count6ry that most helped the American Revolution achieve success was France. Then, to show our ingratitude, during the American plunder of Iraq when France refused to assist, we said about them that were it not for the U.S., France would be speaking German today. My traditionally unpatriotic response to that was that if it weren’t for France, we’d be speaking English today.
The other silly thing we did was attempt to rename foods with “French” in their name, such as French fries or French toast which became freedom fries or freedom toast. So I made a tee shirt with the French flag and titled it freedom flag. But that was just for spite – didn’t think France was any less suffocatingly materialist, patriarchal capitalist than anywhere else in the west, although the U.S. does seem to occupy a special place in the ranks of voracious greed and demonic selfishness.

Speaking of countries to which we owe much unacknowledged gratitude, if it wasn’t for Russia and Tsar Alexander II, the North would not have won the Civil War. The Tsar warned both England and France were they to intervene on behalf of the Confederacy as they wanted, he would consider it an act of war against Russia. Not just that, but Russia was the lone country that backed and supported the North.
Once the U.S. welcomed being surrounded by the Russian fleet, in New York harbor on September 24, 1863 and San Francisco harbor on October 12, 1863. We’re just in time to celebrate the 160th anniversary of these events that saved the Union. They prevented attacks on both coasts from hostile western nations (France and England – our two bff’s now against Russia).
A comment and a poem lauding Russia’s support of the Union:
US Navy Secretary Gideon Welles: “God Bless the Russians”
Bleak are our shores with the blasts of December.
Fettered and chill is the rivulet’s flow;
Thrilling and warm are the hearts that remember
Who was our friend when the world was our foe.
Fires of the North in eternal communion,
Blend your broad flashes with evening’s bright star;
God bless the Empire that loves the Great Union
Strength to her people! Long life to the Czar!
Oliver Wendell Holmes
Oh the bitter irony! If it weren’t for Russia there’d be no USA.

And finally, a pee-on to the New York City Commission on Human Rights:
Good News and Bad News: First the good news. The New York Commission on Human Rights has enacted a new bill tp protect a group whose victimization and oppression have completely outraged the very compassionate New York Commission on Human Rights, almost bringing them to tears: “Intentional or repeated refusal to use an individual’s preferred name, pronoun or title shall be subject to fine. For example, repeatedly calling a transgender woman “him” or “Mr” after she has made clear which pronouns and title she uses permits the Commission to impose civil penalties up to $125,000 for violations, and up to $250,000 for violations that are the result of willful, wanton, or malicious conduct.”
Good news, right? Words can really hurt so remember that next time you refer to that person with a penis hidden under “her” dress. Now the bad news – or I guess it’s good depending on your perspective. It’s still quite legal to refer to a woman as a virago, a frump, a battleax, a chick or bird, a harridan, a girl, a pussy, a bag, a bitch, a cow, a slit, a dame, a broad, a skank, a floozy, a tramp, a trollop, a strumpet, a squaw, a dragon, a harpy, pms-ing, a dyke (when she says no to a man) and a liar (when she names her rapist). And of course there’s always the old standbys; the ”c” and the “t” words. I’m sure there must be others but I’ve lived a very protected life – just not by the New York City Commission on Human Rights.

So can we, should we, depend once again for succor from the Russian fleet? As desperate as we may be here in the U.S., I’m pretty certain nobody expects France to come to our rescue. So that leaves the Russians (probably not), ourselves (doesn’t look promising), or the possibility of very evolved extraterrestrials saving us from ourselves. Sadly, that just might be our best hope. A documentary I watched on the subject claimed a witness “heard” an extraterrestrial inform the blackshirts or whatever they call themselves that they (the E.T.’s) were not going to tolerate the behavior of the earthlings much longer. But that was made in 2010, 13 years ago. Could be a year on their planet is 100 years long. Someday, some day we will all be free and the computer will spell freedom with a capital “F” just as it insists on doing with the word “French”.
*********************************
While it’s probably too soon to start holding “Welcome Extraterrestrials” rallies, parades or maybe just pleas, it’s never too soon to show gratitude for those who’ve saved our (increasingly worthless) ass in the past. So I propose that henceforth Septtember 24 to October 12 be declared our annual Welcome the Russian Fleet to our Harbors Weeks and Gratitude Celebration. Whose with me on that? Or is turnabout no longer fair play, especially since it could hardly be said that America’s ever come through for Russia.
